Use
Application: used as additive for producing metal dysprosium, glass, ndfeb permanent magnet, also used in metal halide lamp, magneto-optical memory material, yttrium iron or yttrium aluminum garnet, atomic energy industry. Dysprosium oxide can also be used as an additive to the permanent magnet of ndfeb system. The addition of dysprosium 2~3% in this magnet can improve its coercive force. In the past, dysprosium oxide was not in great demand. Demand is also growing rapidly at around 9%. Dysprosium oxide is also used as an additive in the manufacture of raw materials of dysprosium metal, glass and permanent magnet of ndfeb. It is also used in metal halide lamp, magneto-optical memory material, yttrium iron or yttrium aluminum garnet, atomic energy industry.
