Triethylamine (molecular formula :C6H15N) also known as N, n-diethylamine, 

the simplest trisubstituted tertiary amine, with the typical properties of tertiary amine, 

including salt formation, oxidation, triethylamine reaction of the Hisberg reaction (no reaction).
The appearance of colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, 

has a strong ammonia odor, in the air slightly smoke.
