Product description:

Ammonium fluorosilicate crystal or white crystalline powder, odorless, toxic! There are two types of alpha and beta, and the A-type is equiaxed density 2.011/cm3. The beta type is three cable-stayed system with a density of 2.152g/cm3. Soluble in alcohol and water, insoluble in acetone. The air is stable. After prolonged heating, the beta type will be destroyed and transformed into alpha type. It is used as a disinfectant for brewing industry, glass etchant, borer of textiles, wood preservatives, as well as for casting and electroplating of light metals. It is also used for extracting potassium from green sand and making artificial cryolite and ammonium chlorate. It is also used for the determination of barium salts in chemical analysis.
The reaction is made of fluorite powder, silica sand and sulfuric acid, and then neutralized by ammonia.
