White crystal or powder. No smell, no smell. The relative density of hexagonal crystal was 3.08. Cubic crystal system crystallization relative density 2.665 (17 ℃). Slightly acidic. It's hygroscopic. Slightly soluble in water. Soluble in hydrochloric acid, solubility increases slightly with temperature. Insoluble in alcohol. Hydrolyzed in hot water into potassium fluoride hydrogen fluoride and silicic acid. When burned, it is decomposed into potassium fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride. Poisonous.
