Product Overview

Silver sulfate, molecular formula: Ag2SO4, white fine orthorhombic crystalline powder, gradually blackened when exposed to light. Soluble in ammonia, nitric acid, and concentrated sulfuric acid, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. It can be used for colorimetric determination of nitrite, vanadate, phosphate and fluorine, determination of cobalt and chromium in ethylene and water quality analysis, and as an analytical reagent, such as catalyst for the determination of chemical oxygen demand in water.
