P-toluene Sulfonic acid (molecular formula: p-ch3c6h4so3h, also known as TsOH, 

English p-toluene Sulfonic acid (PTS), is a strong organic acid without oxidation, 

white needle or powder crystal, soluble in water, alcohol, ether and other polar solvents.
It is easily deliquified, easy to dehydrate and carbonize wood and cotton fabrics, 

and difficult to dissolve in benzene and toluene.
Para-cresol is formed by alkali fusion.
