Product Overview

Sodium hexametaphosphate, molecular formula: (NaPO3)6, white powder crystal, or colorless transparent glass flake or block solid. Soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents. The aqueous solution is alkaline. Hygroscopicity is very strong, exposed to the air can gradually absorb water and become a viscous material. With calcium, magnesium and other metal ions can generate soluble complexes. Widely used in food and industrial fields. Used as a high-efficiency softener for cooling water treatment in power stations, locomotives, boilers and fertilizer plants, detergent additives, control or anti-corrosion agents, cement hardening accelerators, streptomycin refining agents, fiber industry, bleaching and dyeing industry detergent.
