Product Overview

Potassium Metaphosphate, commonly used as analytical reagent, and also for the synthesis of dyes and pharmaceuticals. Highly polymerized linear polyphosphates can be found in a small amount of cyclic potassium phosphate and potassium phosphometaphosphate like three and four. It is a colorless or white glass block or piece, or a white fibrous crystal or powder. No stinky. Slowly dissolved in water, its solubility varies with polymerization degree, generally 0.004%. The water solution is alkaline. Soluble in sodium salt solution, it can dissolve quickly in dilute inorganic acid and insoluble in ethanol.

Application

Fat emulsifier, moisturizer, water softener, metal ion chelating agent, tissue modifier (mainly used in aquatic flavoring), 0.6% to 1.2%, dried products, surimi products, 0.1%, ice cream, 0.03% to 0.1%, protein precipitant.

Emulsifiers, humectants, chelating agents, stabilizers, tissue improvers, adhesives, color fixatives, antioxidants, preservatives. EEC is mainly used in meat products, cheese and evaporated milk.

Used as analytical reagent, and also for the synthesis of dyes and pharmaceuticals.
