Organic Intermediate Carbazole with CAS 86-74-8

Carbazole, white monoclinic crystal, has a special odor. Soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in benzene, ether, ethanol, insoluble in chloroform, acetic acid, carbon tetrachloride and carbon disulfide, insoluble in water. It is yellow in liquid sulfur dioxide or concentrated sulfuric acid. Carbazole can be used to produce dyes, pigments, photoconductors, photosensitive materials, special ink and so on. The pigment eternal violet RL produced with it is widely used for coloring automotive topcoats and high temperature resistant plastics. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance and ultraviolet resistance. Carbazole is used to produce sulphur reducing blue RNX, direct sunlight blue FFRL, FFGL and so on. Leather, N-vinyl carbazole plastics, pesticide insecticides such as tetranitrocarbazole, carbazole chloride and UV-sensitive photographic dry films can also be made.

Carbazole Application:

Carbazole is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. It is one of the most economically valuable components in coal tar. 90% of Carbazole in the world is obtained from coal tar. Carbazole can be used in the production of dyes, pigments, photoconductors, photosensitive materials, special inks and so on. It is widely used in automotive topcoats and high-temperature resistant paints. The coloring of plastics has the advantages of high temperature resistance and UV resistance. The fastness indices of RNX and Haichang blue produced by this dye are excellent, especially the chlorine-resistant bleaching fastness. The blue varieties are carbazole IDM, carbazole LR, carbazole LB and carbazole L3B, and the black varieties are carbazole black D. It also produces carbazole dioxazine violet, a cyan-purple pigment used in paints, printing ink, carbon paper, etc. Carbazole is used to produce sulphur reducing blue RNX, direct sunlight blue FFRL, FFGL and so on.
